GERMANY

Germany is associated with its beer, whose purity law is a national pride and tradition dating since the 17th century. The Germans are so obsessed that they look stunned, finding out that there is anybody else in the world that manufactures beer. Bavaria’s Oktoberfest is a tradition known all over the world.

From the vibrant Berlin to the tranquility of Rugen, to Leipzig, Dresden, and Thuringen, to Heidelberg, Tubingen, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Cologne (Koln) and Rhine Valley, we strolled through Germany, ending in Munich. There we stopped at the Bavarian castles of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein with short detours to the picturesque towns on the Romantische Strasse, charming stops in any trip in the country.
