With its beautiful beaches, Anguilla is the typical Caribbean island. Rows of palm trees align the golden Shoal Beach, making it memorable and enticing for long walks.

But Anguilla is more than a beach destination. With its tax haven status, many corporations settled here. The capital and the only town on the island is The Valley, the only place that does not look to be entirely populated by tourists.

If you don’t plan to stay for a more extended period in Anguilla, a day trip from Saint Martin would give you a pretty good idea of the island.
